Congratulations Tonya and Brent

Last night In Motion Video Productions had the pleasure of shooting a local wedding vendors own wedding, Tonya and Brent (of Tonya Beaver Photography). It’s always the greatest compliment when a fellow vendor selects you for their own wedding and Tonya selected some of the best from around Jacksonville! The day started at Tonya’s house with Makeup By Sunshine making sure the entire bridal party looked fabulous. Tonya and Brent had a beautiful ceremony at Beaches United Methodist. They then headed down to St. Augustine to complete their night at the Slammer and Squire Country Club. The couple cut their Signature Cake by Chef Paul with the knife and cake server Tonya’s parents used at their wedding. The Key lime Cheesecake was amazing!! DJ Dan “Thundercat” kept the dance floor packed with dancing and even some fun activities (note the bride and groom with Hoola-hoops in the slideshow). The In Motion Team at The Bridal Fantasy Show

In Motion Video Productions just finished up the Bridal Fantasy Bridal Show at the World Golf Village – Renaissance Hotel in beautiful Jacksonville, Florida. Thank you to the more than 100 brides who stopped by our booth. We really enjoyed meeting everyone and we are looking forward to the busy week we have ahead of setting up meetings and getting to know our future In Motion brides! We are also VERY suprised to hear more than 75% of the brides we met were interested in video. It really is our mission to show how an In Motion Wedding film can help our brides preserve the memory of their day with motion, sound and all of those perfect moments! I would have loved to have seen my grandparents on their wedding day, hear their voices and understand the love they shared for more than 40 years!

Miriam and Mark’s Ponte Vedra Wedding

It truly was their day… a special day to join hands and become Mr. and Mrs. Metcalf. Mark and Miriam were married on…6/12/2010 at Christ Episcopal Church in Ponte Vedra. The day began with bride and groom getting ready separately. Friends and family then watched as Miriam was escorted down the aisle in her gorgeous Vera Wang dress and holding a stunning bouquet of white roses. More than a few tears of joy were shed as they both spoke their vows.The couple then headed to the beach for a beautiful picture taking session. The reception was held at the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club – Surf Club where a sign welcomed the guests with a declaration to dance the night away, and that they all did. Check out Miriam and Mark’s first dance moves. Very impressive. We would like to offer a special thanks to Liga Photography for making Miriam and Mark’s wedding an especially enjoyable working experience for us. Congratulations to Mark and Miriam. It truly was your special day.

Nicole and Dane: Ponte Vedra Beach, FL

Nicole and Dane said “I Do” at the oldest Catholic Church in Jacksonville, St. Joseph’s Historic Church. It is such a charming building with it’s red roof and red door. After their exchange of vows and a few quick pictures, they were off to TPC Sawgrass for their reception. Nicole and Dane entered the ballroom filled with beautiful flower centerpieces, and a dance floor lit with their monogram. They had a wonderful evening with family and friends as David Hanscom with Y Entertainment kept everyone dancing until it was time for their send off. The bride and groom rode away through a sea of sparklers on a golf cart. It was a truly magical evening.

In Motion partners with Images for a Cure!

In Motion Video Productions was a proud sponsor of the Images for a Cure event in October of 2009 . For those who don’t know Images for a Cure is a fundraising effort for Breast Cancer started by Kristen Weaver of Kristen Weaver Photography in Orlando, FL. Photographers from all over the country (and now Videographers, Makeup Artists, and other vendors) came together to donate their talents in order to make a difference. And wow did it make a difference. The fundraiser collected $12,900!!!!
On October 11, 2009, hundreds of photographers from across the country held photo shoots, In Motion had the opportunity to capture 2 of those cities and 3 of the photographers including the founder of Images for a Cure, Kristen Weaver. We were also able to interview participants and other volunteers to really capture the true meaning of this event. We hope everyone will enjoy the Images for a cure 2009 wrap up video below. And……be on the look out for a teaser into the Images for a Cure 2010 event!!!!

Simina and Steve: Ponte Vedra Beach, FL

Simina and Steve tied the knot on Valentines Day at The Lodge and Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. They had friends and family fly in from all over the world to share this special day with them. Their ceremony was held outside in the beautiful fountain courtyard that overlooks the beach. It was a cold day for us Floridians, so after pictures we were happy to head inside to their reception. Wedding planner Sarah Grace with The Big Event made sure no detail was left out- the reception room was absolutely stunning! The couple enjoyed a first dance, dinner, and then it was time to party. The Mystery Band kept the room rockin all night, and our good friends at La Dolce Vita Studio captured all of the fun and memories. Simina and Steve- congratulations on your marriage and we wish you nothing but the best! Here is a sneak peek at your wedding day:

Maggie and Matt: Ponte Vedra Beach, FL

Maggie and Matt were married in December in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Their wedding weekend started out with us capturing their rehearsal dinner, on what also happened to be Matt’s Birthday! The morning of their wedding began with some “bridal preparation” shots at One Ocean Resort. We were all nervous about the rain, which had not stopped since the night before. However, as we were looking out at the ocean from the hotel room we could see the sky start to clear, and they had the most amazing weather for the rest of the day! Their ceremony took place at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. They had a beautiful, emotional Mass, and when it ended Maggie and Matt were extremely excited to be pronounced husband and wife! After the ceremony we headed to the beach with Gary of Naturally Photography to capture some amazing shots of the couple at sunset. Then it was on to the reception at Ponte Vedra Plantation where the couple enjoyed cocktails with family and friends. They were then introduced into the room as husband and wife and enjoyed a first dance together. The rest of the evening was filled with fun, dancing, laughter, (and even a little singing on the microphone!) as Mike with DeLand Entertainment kept the dance floor packed all night! Congrats Maggie and Matt- you were an amazing couple to work with and we can’t wait for you to see your preview trailer:
