In Motion Video Productions just finished up the Bridal Fantasy Bridal Show at the World Golf Village – Renaissance Hotel in beautiful Jacksonville, Florida. Thank you to the more than 100 brides who stopped by our booth. We really enjoyed meeting everyone and we are looking forward to the busy week we have ahead of setting up meetings and getting to know our future In Motion brides! We are also VERY suprised to hear more than 75% of the brides we met were interested in video. It really is our mission to show how an In Motion Wedding film can help our brides preserve the memory of their day with motion, sound and all of those perfect moments! I would have loved to have seen my grandparents on their wedding day, hear their voices and understand the love they shared for more than 40 years!

In Motion joined 9 other vendors as a part of The Wedding Party and I think we all agreed we met some of the best brides this weekend and can’t wait to help make their day a moment they will never forget. Check out some of the those vendors below:

I would like to welcome everyone to our new blog. This blog is much more video oriented and really gives our fans a chance to look through all of our videos or select from a set of featured videos. Take a few minutes to look around and notice some of the great new features:

1. Featured videos section at the top of the page, press the arrow to scroll through a couple of them or press play to view the video.

2. Video Ratings. Hover over any of the DVD covers down the left hand side or click on any of the videos to provide a 1 to 5 star rating. All of your ratings will be combined and shown on the right hand rating box.

3. Newly updated FAQ sections.

4. Additional featured videos on the right hand side of the page.

5. Our Twitter feed on the right hand side of the page.

In Motion Video Productions is proud to announce our sponsorship of Images for a Cure 2009!  Images for a Cure is a fundraising effort for Breast Cancer started by Kristen Weaver of Kristen Weaver Photography in Orlando, FL. Photographers from all over the country (and now Videographers, Makeup Artists, and other vendors) are coming together to donate their talents in order to make a difference. We feel lucky to have an opportunity that allows us to use our talents and strengths to contribute to such a fantastic cause, and we encourage all our friends to get involved in any way you can!

On October 11, 2009, hundreds of photographers from across the country will hold photo shoots. All the sitting fees collected will be donated to the Images for a Cure Foundation for Breast Cancer. In Motion will be traveling around the state of Florida to capture some of these special photo shoots, as well as interviews with the founder of the event, couples, and photographers who are participating in the event. We will then post the video here on our blog for everyone to see what a difference this group is making!

We are once again happy to announce that we will be part of the Jacksonville Bridal Connection Bridal Show.  The show is on Sunday, February 22^nd from 1-4pm at the UNF University Center.

 Happy New Year everyone!  2009 has just begun and we have a lot of great news to share with you.  We launched our new website on January 1^st.  We invite you to take a look around the site and check out our new look.  We are able to share many more videos with you now in our Theatre Room, and we have added an FAQ’s section to the site to try to answer some of your questions.

      We are also happy to announce that we are now listed on theknot.com and weddingchannel.com.  You can find our listing in the Northeast Florida section under “Videographers” on both websites.  We hope this will help us reach more brides, and we have already enjoyed talking with couples who have contacted us.

     One more piece of exciting news for you… we have decided to invest in some new, more powerful High Definition Cameras.  (The Panasonic HPX-170 for all you techies out there).  These cameras shoot in 1080p, the highest quality High Definition format available right now.  The video records as a digital file onto a hard drive and never touches a tape.  What does this mean for our brides and grooms?  It means the highest quality HD footage from start to finish.  We are now also offering Blu-ray DVDs as an option with any package.

     We are excited about the upcoming year and look forward to the chance to work with all of our 2009 couples.  Please contact us if you have any questions about our new website.  We hope to hear from you soon!

The bridal show put on by Jacksonville Bridal Connection was a lot of fun, and we enjoyed meeting everyone who stopped by our booth. I would also like to congratulate Derri Lassiter, the winner of our prize drawing! She will be receiving her choice of any of our add-ons and we look forward to working with her on that. If you were not able to make it to the show, we will be participating in the next show in September, so we hope to meet you then.
