Josh and Emily are without a doubt one of the sweetest couples we have had the pleasure of working with.  Their wedding day was a day they had been looking forward to for a long time, and it was filled with so much emotion and love.  One of my favorite moments of the day was when Josh gave Emily her wedding day gift.  He had been keeping a journal “to his future wife” and had been writing journal entries, unbeknownst to Emily, the entire time they had been dating.  Needless to say Emily was overwhelmed by this amazing gift, and so was everyone in the room  The rest of the day was filled with wonderful moments like this.

After viewing their Film Emily and Josh had this to say about our work: “We are both so AMAZED by the amount of work you put into our wedding video!  We are blown away by every little detail.  Thank you again so much for your kindness and hard work.  We look forward to recommending you to other bride and grooms in the future!”

We can’t believe that 2012 is here, but boy has 2011 been a great year!  As we were reflecting on all the great moments we have witnessed and captured over the past year, we decided that it would be fun to put a little video together so we could share them with you!  But before we show you the video let me first say a couple HUGE Thank You’s!  First, thank you to all of the amazing wedding vendors we have had the pleasure of meeting and working with this past year.  It’s been great meeting photographers, coordinators, florists, DJs, and more all over Florida and beyond.  We hope to work with all of you again in 2012.  And most importantly, a HUGE Thank You to all of our couples.  We have some of the most fun, sweet, and outgoing brides and grooms around and we are thankful that you chose In Motion to capture your wedding day!

Ok, so without further ado here is a little video we put together of our favorite moments of 2011:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Caitlyn and Andrew were married on a gorgeous Fall day in Gainesville, FL.  Their ceremony took place inside Holy Faith Catholic Church.  Since the couple met in Gainesville, and are huge Gator fans, it was only fitting that we stop by The Swamp for a few shots on our way to the reception at Haile Plantation.  When we arrived at Haile Plantation the cocktail hour was taking place outside, overlooking the beautiful scenery of the golf course.  Guests watched the sun go down as they enjoyed the delicious spread of food and watched Caitlyn and Andrew have their first dance as husband and wife.  Everyone moved inside for dinner, but as soon as dinner was over it was back outside to enjoy a night of dancing and celebrating.  We are so glad we were able to be a part of Caitlyn and Andrew’s wedding… here is a look at their preview video:

We have been excited to share this video with you for a while, and I am happy to say that production of the Roy’s Restaurant Promotional Video is now complete!  In Motion was asked to produce a video that would showcase all the aspects of Roy’s that make it unique: outstanding customer service, delicious Hawaiian Fusion cuisine, and making every customer feel like part of their “Ohana”.

We had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing Roy Yamaguchi, the Founding Chef and Owner, and also Kiel Lombardo, Corporate Executive Chef.  It was so interesting to find out that every Roy’s Restaurant has a slightly different menu based on local cuisine and input from the Roy’s Chefs.  There are not too many restaurants that offer that!  Our production crew was lucky enough to be able to sample some of the dishes, and I can tell you that everything we tasted was amazing!  Just watching this video makes my mouth water!

Melissa and Michael’s wedding stands out in my mind as one of my all time favorites!  There were beautiful details, Melissa looked stunning in her gown, but most of all you could really feel the love between her and Michael.  That is what weddings are all about!  We just completed their Wedding Film, so check it out!

Emily and Robert were so much fun to work with! Their love for each other is infectious and from the moment we arrived we could tell how excited they were that their big day was here! I think my favorite moment from the whole day was when we took the couple outside for some extra photo/video shots. As they came back into the venue they decided to go in the back entrance to surprise everyone and they rushed onto the dance floor with their family and friends. Emily wanted everyone to dance, and the dance floor was definitely packed all night! It was such a memorable and beautiful evening. Check out Emily and Robert’s Preview Video:

A few weeks ago we hinted that we were part of a “secret shoot”.  I am happy to finally be able to reveal what we were up to!

I received an email one day from David, an anxious boyfriend hoping to soon propose to his girlfriend, Jordyn.  He knew how special this moment would be, and wanted to capture it all on video (smart guy!!!)  So I contacted him and he filled us in on his plan.  We knew it was going to be an amazing moment for the two of them!

We packed up all our gear and met David that Friday night at Big Talbot Island.  The plan was for us to stay completely hidden so that Jordyn would have no idea what was going on!  So, like ninjas, we waited…. and that is all I’ll say because I think the video really explains it all.

It was so special for us to be a part of this moment in their lives.  Check out the video to see how it all went down… (and scroll down to the end of the post for some behind the scenes shots of us waiting for the big moment!)  This video is the “Extended Version” which includes David revealing his “film crew” to Jordyn

Amy and John’s wedding was filled with southern charm and sophistication, and we were very excited to be a part of their day in Charlotte, NC.  Not only are they a great couple, but we had the privilege of shooting Amy’s brother’s wedding back in April 2007 (Eric and Laura Beth’s Preview Video).  It was so nice to see all of their family again and get to know Amy and John through a whole weekend of wedding celebrations!

Amy and John’s ceremony was performed by John’s brother, which gave it an extra special and emotional touch!  After the ceremony, the bride and groom made their exit in a Rolls-Royce and headed to their reception at Carmel Country Club.  The couple and their bridal party took some pictures on the amazingly beautiful country club grounds, and then headed inside to begin the party!  Amy and John are very close to their families, and it was evident by the toasts, the special dances, and the overall feeling of love and joy that filled the room. At the end of the night, their friends and family sent them off with a sparkler exit, and they drove away to begin their lives together as husband and wife.

Amy and John treated us like family, and really made us feel like a part of their wedding day.  We are thankful that we were able to capture such an amazing weekend for them!  Check out their preview video here:

We are excited to say that In Motion Video Productions has hit another milestone!  This weekend, 5 years ago, In Motion shot it’s first wedding!  So, for fun, we thought we’d give you a brief history of the journey we have taken to get to where we are now.

In Motion Video Productions began with a challenge… A challenge by my husband (James) that if I could book enough jobs to pay for the Final Cut Pro system I wanted so badly, that I could buy one.  So of course, knowing me, I set out to prove to him I could do it and booked my first wedding!  The thing we didn’t know, is that we would both fall in love with event videography!  So, 5 years ago James and I set out to shoot our first wedding.  The night was amazing… filled with family, friends, and love for the couple.  We were hooked… The rest, as they say, is history!

Over the course of the past 5 years we have grown from a husband and wife owned business, to a team of specially trained and talented videographers and editors.  We have shot hundreds of weddings and helped each and every couple we work with preserve the most special memories of their lives.

In addition to event videography, we also started a Corporate Videography division of In Motion.  We have had the opportunity to work with clients such as Roy’s Restaurant, The Jacksonville Symphony, The Main Street America Group, Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, Brooks Health, and countless others.
